as a photographer, the 2017 women's march was such a special and unique event to shoot. all of the different people and scenery added to seeing the passion and community present at the march. as a country, we were in a really difficult time; with the new inauguration of our president, the recent school shootings and the demand for women's rights across the world, we as a nation were resilient and showed this through our powerful voices in unison at the march. this march brought us, a new America, together in such a vast way. these photographs are near and dear to my heart and I hope they can capture what it meant to come together to stand up for what is right.
